L’Oréal USA Announces New Chief Information Officer

NEW YORK – Oct. 2, 2017 – L’Oréal USA announced today that Michael Kingston joined the company as Chief Information Officer (CIO) of L’Oréal’s Americas Zone, reporting to President & Chief Executive Officer of L’Oréal USA and Executive Vice President of the Americas Zone, Frédéric Rozé and Etienne Aubourg, Chief Information Officer, L’Oréal Group.

Kingston succeeds Barry Gilmore, who retired at the end of September after 17 years of IT leadership with L’Oréal.

Prior to joining L’Oréal, Kingston served in the global management-consulting sector, spearheading digital transformation projects in key markets. He has held several corporate leadership roles, including CIO of Neiman Marcus Group, Ann Inc., Coach Inc., LVMH and Castrol. With more than 20 years of IT expertise, Kingston’s extensive technical background, paired with his ability to empower organizations around enterprise transformation, will complement the strong IT talent at L’Oréal Americas.
