At the "Rencontre Internationale de la Diversité", the 5th annual Diversity Trophies Grand Prix 2010 was awarded to L’Oréal.
Established in 2005 by the Diversity Council, the standard-setter on diversity management and the IAE in Corte, the Diversity Awards reward companies that incorporate diversity management in their HR and managerial practices by demonstrating innovation and creativity.
Composed of representatives from MEDEF, ANDRH, IMS and ESSEC, the Trophy Jury this year also recognized the initiatives of seven other companies:
LVMH: Special Jury Award (Commitment and Innovation) for its coaching programs for disabled workers and the creation of an "Handi-Talents" assessment center
AUCHAN: Winner of the Management Potential Prize for its tailored one-year plan for potential female employees span>
BNP-PARIBAS: Winner of the Life and Career Management Prize for its support program for women returning from maternity leave or adoption
EDF: Winner of the Diversity Management Prize for its manual of best practices in managing religious beliefs
SFR: Winner of the Communications Prize for its awareness raising initiatives on diversity
COLAS Winner of the Job Retention Prize
EQUITA: SME Diversity Award for its initiatives for disabled employees
After winning the 2008 and 2009 Diversity Awards for its Senior Employment & Diversity Forum and its raft of communications actions, L'Oréal is proud to be awarded a prize recognizing its global diversity" policy.
