Our Suppliers
L’Oréal USA has established a Supplier Diversity Council to manage our supplier diversity program. This program enables L’Oréal to create a broad supplier base of small, minority and women business enterprises. These firms ensure that our Suppliers reflect the broad diversity of the market place we serve.
L’Oréal USA is a proud corporate member of The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the New York-New Jersey Minority Purchasing Council and the Asian Enterprise.

Supplier Diversity Program Basics
The Supplier Diversity Program was established to ensure that opportunities for MBE’s/WOB’s to do business with L’Oréal USA existed. A potential impediment facing MBE’s/WOB’s is the complexity of the corporate purchasing environment. Our Supplier Diversity council is dedicated to provide assistance to both the buyer and the seller.
The basic components of USA’s Supplier Diversity Program are:
1. Research of Certified MBE/WOB Suppliers - actively seeking diverse suppliers through minority and business development organizations and participation in various trade show activities.
2. Qualification - review of selected business criteria and referral to appropriate purchaser for consideration.
3. Development - review of additional needs of suppliers and exploring ways to provide assistance to them.
4. Practical Utilization - monitor actual activities in the purchasing processes.
